Home Appeals Bangladesh Food Packs

In August 2017, the Rohingya community faced a violent genocide in Myanmar. It left thousands dead, and hundreds of thousands traumatised and fleeing to Bangladesh in search of safety.

There are close to one million Rohingya refugees living in the extremely densely populated Coxs Bazar, making it the worlds largest refugee camp. These people are struggling to survive day by day without access to proper healthcare, sanitation, education or nutrition.

This Ramadan, RCF have pledged to raise money to provide food packs with the help of implementing partners Susuaville to Rohingya families in Cox's Bazaar, Bangladesh and to the host community who are also impoverished. Funds will be split evenly between Rohingya and host community members.

£50 will allow us to feed a family of five for one month. Food packs will contain: Oil, Sugar, Salt, Chickpeas, Rice, Garlic, Dates, Onions, Spices, Lentils, Juice & Potatoes.
